Educational and methodological association in the field of additional adult education

The educational and methodological association is organized on the basis of the Educational Institution "Institute of Retraining and Advanced Training of Judges, prosecutors, courts and Justice Institutions of the Belarusian State University" (hereinafter – the Institute) in the group of specialties 0421 Law (hereinafter referred to as UMO). The main functions of the UME in the field of additional adult education in accordance with Article 261 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Education and paragraph 5 of the Regulations on the Educational and Methodological Association in the field of additional adult education, approved by Resolution No. 331 of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus dated September 20, 2022, are: participation in the development and improvement of educational standards for the retraining of managers and specialists; participation in the development, examination and improvement of educational and program documentation of educational programs for additional adult education; coordination of textbook manuscripts, educational and teaching aids. The activities of the UMO are managed by the bureau, which is elected from among the members of the UMO. The Bureau of the UMO consists of a vice-chairman and a secretary. The UME Bureau is headed by the Chairman, who is appointed by order of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. By Order of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus No. 219 dated May 2, 2023 "On educational and methodological associations in the field of additional adult education", Oksana Nikolaevna Zdrok, Director of the Institute, Doctor of Law, Professor, was appointed Chairman of the Bureau of the UME. Meetings of the UME, its bureau and sections are held in accordance with the UME work plan for the academic year, but no later than one month after the receipt of documents for consideration.
